The name "per se" comes from Latin, meaning "inherent" or "intrinsically," symbolizing their desire for their music to be self-explanatory, unconfined by the styles and limits of the group name. Members Sandy and Stephen are a couple who noted in an interview that initially creating music as per se was purely a dating activity, but gradually it became difficult to distinguish between dating and working. Their romantic routines have seamlessly blended into their work routines, yet they have never considered separating their creative processes. Their notable works include "Candy House Demolished," "No Door," and "Maybe There Is No Future God."
