It is manufactured using a vegetable tanning process which allows it to remain soft and retain its natural characteristics and appearance.The tannery’s manufacturing method is environmentally friendly and exclusively uses extracted tannins from plants such as chestnut, mimosa and quebracho. This method has traditionally been used in Toscano, Italy and is still used today.
