DITA Audio’s acclaimed expertise in metalworking is fully demonstrated in Mecha’s design. Utilizing CNC machining, the titanium is precisely crafted into a unique streamlined housing that stands out as a work of art.
The internal structure is equally refined, ensuring the dynamic driver and other components are securely mounted while effectively suppressing unwanted resonance. This meticulous approach enables Mecha to achieve exceptional sound performance.
The exterior design of Mecha is strikingly distinctive. Its dual-ridge design, reminiscent of mountain peaks, is paired with an etched brand logo. From afar, the design evokes the beauty of a traditional landscape painting, reflecting the brand’s profound interpretation of nature’s vitality and artistic aesthetics.
DITA Audio not only excels in metalworking craftsmanship but also demonstrates profound expertise in dynamic driver design. The Mecha is equipped with a newly designed 10mm Lithium-Magnesium Diaphragm Dual-Magnetic Circuit Dynamic Driver, which features a dual-magnetic circuit structure. This significantly enhances the diaphragm's transient response speed, moves more air, and delivers a powerful, impactful sound performance. The diaphragm itself is composed of a 9mm lithium-magnesium alloy core and a 1mm carbon-coated surround edge.
Lithium-Magnesium Alloy: The Lightest Structural Metal
As one of the lightest structural metals in the world, lithium-magnesium alloy provides exceptional responsiveness for the driver. Its outstanding vibration-damping properties also help to minimize unwanted resonance, enabling Mecha to reproduce richer, highly detailed, and accurate musical textures, even with a single dynamic driver configuration.
Additionally, the carbon-coated surround edge further stabilizes the diaphragm's movement during operation, ensuring every musical detail is rendered with clarity and precision. This meticulous design allows Mecha to achieve a remarkable balance of power, detail, and fidelity, fully showcasing DITA Audio’s commitment to acoustic excellence.
Mecha is equipped with the newly designed Churro Cable, constructed from silver-plated OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) copper. This material enhances the transparency and refinement of sound, delivering a richer and more layered auditory experience.
Awesome Plug V2 is featured on the player-end connector, offering support for standard 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs, as well as a USB-C connector. The USB-C interface supports up to 384kHz/32bit sampling rates while maintaining low power consumption, making it convenient for users to pair directly with smartphones. This design emphasizes practicality and versatility.
DITA Audio complements Mecha with a Systainer® hard case manufactured by German brand TANOS. This rugged case not only provides excellent protection for the earphones but also accentuates Mecha’s overall aesthetic and individualistic design, satisfying users’ dual needs for protection and style.
The accompanying ear tips are designed with dual hardness materials: the nozzle section is made of firm silicone for strength and flexibility, while the portion in contact with the ear is crafted from soft silicone for comfort and superior noise isolation.
The ear tips are transparent and feature a night-glow function, making them easy to handle in dark environments—a perfect blend of practicality and thoughtful design.
