A Decade of Engineering, Refined

Balanced armature (BA) drivers are renowned for their precision and resolution, but often fall short in delivering deep, dynamic bass. To overcome this limitation, final introduced a vented rear acoustic chamber to its in-house BA drivers—enhancing air flow and allowing for a more substantial low-end response.

Building upon this concept, the S3000 goes even further:

An external tuning mesh is added to the vent
A fixed resistor is used to precisely control the electric current entering the driver

This dual approach yields an exceptionally balanced frequency response, combining the BA’s inherent clarity with newfound dynamic weight across all three bands.

Inside the S3000’s nozzle lies a horn-shaped acoustic component, inspired by large-scale speaker design. This structure disperses sound in a natural, spatial manner while fine-tuning frequency roll-off points. The result?
