SagraDAC2

HK$31,980

Converting digital recordings to the analog we hear in a very life-like manner has been a constant challenge since CD's were introduced in the early 80's. Every new format brings it's own set of trade-offs.

While D/A chipsets have evolved tremendously over the years, in the end audiophiles still seek greater purity of sound, lacking any of the typical digital brightness and grunge, or the resolution robbing softening effects of filtering to remove the same.

Eleven Audio took the more difficult path by designing a precision discrete R2R ladder DAC which more closely mimics the analog sound our brains seek. This 27 bit discrete DAC uses no off the shelf D/A converter chip, but rather an all discrete analog signal path to convert a parallel digital signal in a most natural way.

The XIAUDIO SagraDAC coverts up to 384 KHz sampling rates with a dynamic range higher than most systems can reproduce. The sound is effortless, clear, not bright, not boring, just right. Human voices sound human, piano and horn plays with proper timbre and harmonic structure. You're brain has an easier job of it, digital is finally highly enjoyable.

Eleven Audio utilizes fully regulated power supplies and their class A ultra-low noise analog circuitry to output pure sound in both single ended RCA and XLR balanced

In the end, all that matters is the sound. The Eleven Audio Sagra DAC is a must hear!

S/PDIF Blade

The S/PDIF RCA2 and S/PDIF BNC inputs of the SagraDAC can use the S/PDIF Blade function, which sets the baseline value of the level and improves the sound quality by changing the 0/1 recognition threshold of the S/PDIF digital signal. To set this function, select the S/PDIF RCA2 input or the S/PDIF BNC input and press and hold the front panel input selector switch. The current S/PDIF Blade settings are shown on the right side of the display. The set value is indicated by a number and a horizontal line in the upper right corner. The maximum value is 9, the minimum value is 1, and the default value is 5. A short press on the input selector switch increases the value, while a long press decreases the value. The appropriate value depends on the digital output of the source device, so it is recommended to change the setting value while playing music to find the most stable and ideal sound quality value. The settings for the S/PDIF Blade function can be set individually for the S/PDIF RCA2 and S/PDIF BNC inputs, and the settings are retained even when power is removed. To set the S/PDIF Blade function, press and hold the input selector switch to return to the input selector display.
