Based on the clear aural signature of the bass model, we worked with Pierre Nakano to explore ways to more attractively express the dynamics of the music. The mid-low range pursues the best balance between the three contradictory elements of "spread", "sharpness" and "volume". The mid- and high-frequency range enables sound creations that are as powerful as the low-frequency range, without losing resolution.

Additionally, with this unit we've studied the way the drums sound more thoroughly than we have with past headphone/pit headphone series. Special attention is paid to the tone of the bass drum, taking into account attack, body rumble and reverb patterns, recreating the realism and power of a professional drummer. Based on this, I took an approach to creating band sounds such as snare drums and cymbals. By tuning from low to high frequencies with the drum as the center, we achieved a sound that maximizes the original charm of the instrument in all frequency bands, including melody lines.
